Even though you can add pins in the standard app I love the way this app allows me to add and delete pins as I need to, plus I can map my whole address book at one time.

Does not work on iPhone 4S. Reported problem to developed but not even a note back saying they are working on problem. Will be happy to re-evaluate if/when they fix.

Overall, I love this app. Now that Im using it more ideas pop into my head for other uses. When a contact has multiple addresses ( like home and business) I only want to show one of those, not both. Ability to highlight several and plot the most efficient rout to all.

I was looking for an app thatd map all the entries in a category. So I searched on the App Store and bought someone elses app for $1.99 — but it was awkward to use and occasionally mis-mapped an entry. Later, I happened to peruse the Genius app matcher thingy, and it recommended AB Contact Map, and it was free! So I tried it, and it was precisely the app I sought!! Now I can map my entire “Thrift Stores” category with ease, or stare at all the entries of “Fast Food” to aid decision-making when Im too hungry to think. THANK YOU! And Ill prolly upgrade to the paid version for the distance sorting soon.

WOW!!!!! I imported 13,000 voters into FileMaker, changed each voters middle name to his/her party affiliation and the number of times he/she voted in the last four years (all of this from my Registrar of Voters), exported as a cvs file, imported to my address book and then opened this app. I did a find on Republican4 for example, selected all and a pin color and the Google Query went flawlessly. Took 3 days to do the geoquery (I know it should have taken more days at the 2,500 a day limit but the traffic cop at Google must have been asleep at the switch) but it never crashed and the map is a work of art. I wish I could show it to you. I have a iPad 2 with max memory running iOS 5, latest version (soon to be iPad 3). :) If you need pins on a map, buy this app. I bought the in app upgrade. I didnt need the added pin colors, but I wanted the developer to get some money. I have hundreds of apps on my iPhone, iPad and Macs. This is the most amazing so far. Note to developers: A couple of times I inadvertently hit the clear all button at the bottom of the listing, clearing all the pins in the found set. This needs to be fixed with a warning message that says "Do you really want to clear all the pins from 4,000 contacts, idiot?"

This app does a great job of mapping contacts and contact groups in iCloud, but falls short on mapping contact groups in Exchange accounts. All of my business contacts are stored on my exchange acct (Customers, Leads, Vendors, etc.) and there is no way of mapping them separately as they are all lumped into the "All Contacts" category. Add this functionality and my rating goes up to 5 stars!!!

This is exactly what I need for business needs. Very well done. Works on iPad great. Thank you.

This app has great potentials. 3 more features will earn 3 more stars from me: 1. Back up settings 2. Sync settings between iOS devices 3. Ability to change name of colors to group names: friends, customers, etc...

Ive wanted an app that indicates my personal addresses on a map... And distances from points, etc. I wish 1)The distance radius was more in line with other programs ex 25, 50 miles. Theres a huge difference between 10 and 100. 2) it had a built in address book ability or could "overlay" our current address book- ie, as others have stated- colored pins for groups ie- friends, businesses, restaurants. Whatever we want to integrate/organize. 2a) on iPhone, the address book lacks ability to group names/addresses. If this had an overlay (where we could designate name A1 and D7 were friends, ie purple pin and names a57 and T22 are a green restaurant pin OR - have your own address book capabilities that allow something like this. An upgrade gives distances? Does it give general routes? Well, thats what my GPS is for. This, enabling me to visual "close bys" is wonderful. Thank you.

I like this app. Its simple, easy to use and works on all my devices. The layout is nice and not at all confusing. I would like to see some more functionality. 1. Ability to make a call or send text from within the app. 2. Routes to selected or multiple contacts. 3. Grouping or profiling so that I can see specific contact groups at a time. 4. Ability to put in any location in the world to see whats around that area. It would be beneficial for pre planning trips. With these updates, you will be 5+ star app.

Ok, so I have to load my 3000+ contacts into the app every time? This takes a long time with or without wifi, sometimes google wont let me load that many all at once... Cant this app store that information so I can quickly access the map next time? Is this a bug or the intended functionality? I have appointments all over for sales, when Im in the area and left with some time I tend to drop by my clients that are close by this app is great at helping me find whos closest, and planning a rout to maximize my time. I am a disappointed to have to repopulate the map every time I try to use the app it didnt do this the first few times I tested the app but now it crashes when opened and is leff empty of drop pins. It takes about 1 hour to load 2500 contacts and informs me Im over limit for the other 5-600. I bought the in app features--I dont need them but I want to support the developer.

I really want this App to work... I need it, but it simply does not. First couple times I installed it (yes Ive reloaded it several times) it would crash repeatedly after contacts were installed. I tried crushing the program and restarting, but when opened again it would crash, again. Finally was able to get it to run without crashing by being extremely careful to let the contact import finish without any interruptions and without trying to use different colored pins for different groups. That worked, but the first time I tried to use the Route feature it crashed again. I give up. Fix the bugs and this App would be awesome. I gave it 2 stars because Im finally able to cruise through the map checking contacts near my current location... which is nice. Otherwise I would give it zero stars.

This app is Getting there, I am sure they will improve it in the next updates. It works work for me in the meantime.

Waste of time, is this another app where they hire people to write great reviews?

I cannot get the app to stay up. It would be a great app if it didnt crash all the time.

This app is exactly what I wanted. I have 2900 contacts. If I have a little extra time in my day I pull up the map and see who lives close. I can even sort by a certain group to just see my "friends" or "current customers" this app is awesome. The biggest issue is their is no where I can send it to coworkers. I have told them about it , and have tried to send it a couple time. Otherwise great app

Id like it even better if there was a way to sync my groups from my Contacts in ipad2 to the AB Contacts so i can have only my business locations pins when i want them. Also would like it more if I could use it to "GPS direction-me" to each pin from my current location. great app

App uploaded all of my contacts with no issue. I wish I had more options to group my contacts. Also more pin colors would be helpful.

Not working????? Do not install waste of money ?? Super Negative negative negative They should even review their review to help dissatisfied client to solve issue. , yet they do not even try. ? They do not have support system that will call you back, even apple support is very hard , you would not get your money back even the program is not working , waste of time and money

This app is a scam, a big scam just like apple. Bunch of thefts.
